The roundup is promoted by the Center for Traditions of the state of Rio Grande do Sul "Laço do Bom Vaqueiro" and brings to Brusque hundreds of participants of other Traditions Centers of the southern region. Several typical roundup competitions take place and there are enthusiastic dances. The Roundup takes place at the Maria Celina Pavilion every August.
