The park covers an area of 216 thousand square meters with native and exotic fauna and flora from the preserved Atlantic forest, with 650 thousand animals and 135 species. Visitors may find different varieties of primates - a delight for kids. Along the ecological trails, native and exotic birds may be watched.

Inside the Zoo, the Mini-swamp houses four lakes with samples of animals of the sate of Mato Grosso: aligators, ateaters, deers, cabybaras, turtles, cavies, tapirs, wild pigs, etc.

The vegetation of the Atlantic Forest mark the boundaries of the tracks inside the park: orchids, coconut trees, bromeliads, tecomas, ferns, banana trees, anthuriums, and foliage close to water springs.

Other beautiful alternatives are the greenhouses and the cableway lift.There is a restaurant and a snack bar inside the zoo and they remain opened the whole day through.
